Andrea ha tutte le qualità per fare una stagione tale da spuntare un buon contratto il prossimo anno.
Se ripete una delle ultime 2, faccio fatica a capire chi lo possa volere, se non a cifre irrisorie e con minutaggi altrettanto irrisori.

Ora l'importante è che stia bene e giochi, sennò all'alba dei 29 anni la sua carriera NBA è finita.

Grande amarezza, perchè stavolta non è sfiga, non è un colpo o un trauma fortuito, o un appendicite, o uno sperone osseo, o il setto nasale deviato, o un colpo in faccia. E' un brutto segnale fisico a tutti gli effetti.

aggiungici la testa, la comunicazione, e la tipologia di errori quando c'è (macroscopici, ma non peggio di quello che fanno altri invece osannati) ed ecco la frittata. da un bianco europeo capace di farne 20 e più a stagione (in un concesso, più che un contesto, per giunta), un fenomeno più che potenziale visto ciò che faceva, ed ecco che si materializza (ingiustamente) un bust....

Andrea Bargnani's season is already off to a familiarly disappointing start.

New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher admitted that there's a chance Bargnani won't be ready for the team's season opener, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post. The Knicks open the regular season on Oct. 29 against the Chicago Bulls.

Bargnani has been sidelined with a hamstring strain for nearly two weeks. The Italian big man hasn't suited up since the Knicks' preseason opener on Oct. 8 against the Boston Celtics.

Bargnani has dealt with a slew of calf, elbow and hamstring injuries over the last few years, hasn't cracked the 60-game mark since the 2010-11 season, and has missed 138 games over the last four years combined.

Bargnani's durability and overall performance will be crucial this year, as the former No. 1 overall pick is set for unrestricted free agency after the season. He'll earn $11.5 million this season, the final year of a five-year, $50 million contract.

Barring a career-year, Bargnani is surely in for a steep decrease in pay.

Bargnani's value is in his ability to space the floor offensively and his unique offensive skill set for a seven-footer. However, he's posted an Effective Field Goal Percentage of 47.0 over the last four seasons and hasn't hit the 35 percent marker from three-point range in five years.

The 3-point shot is a bit out of his range, but from 20 feet and in, Andrea is a deadly shooter. And those are the kinds of shots that the offense will generate for him. Still, there are two aspects of his offense that he has to work on. Because he only approaches the rim in straight lines, he needs to develop some kind of change-of-direction move with the ball -- perhaps a crossover dribble. Also, he's a finger-roller, not a dunker. Could he have small hands? Or does he just need to be more aggressive?

"Bargnani's defense likewise needs improvement. With his long arms, he can be an effective shot-blocker, but he's usually too reactive on defense. In the past, Andrea has been slow getting back in transition defense, and once there he's been unsure of what his rotation responsibilities have been. And like Amar'e, Andrea has to see which of the frontcourt positions suits him best."

Hardaway tira in maniera micidiale ma, nonostante i dichiarati buoni propositi, in difesa è un telepass

Squadra senza nessun futuro a meno che il mago non faccia la miglior stagione della sua vita (ed anche in quel caso non si va lontano)

Questa mancanza di comunicazione fa sempre irritare.... ma che cosa costa dire "Guardate, ho le emorroidi a grappolo e quando mi fletto per i liberi ho l'ano che scoppietta"? No.... il silenzio tombale.
Colpa dei knicks, del Mago e di chi ne fa le veci, dei giornalisti italiani che non si interessano minimamente a lui.
