Belinelli fell out of favor even though he wasn't playing that badly; Toronto just had players who did the same types of things better. Although not an elite athlete, Belinelli is pretty clever offensively and draws a lot of fouls for a player who shoots so many 3s. To really be an effective offensive player, however, he has to convert more inside the arc; he shot just 41.7 percent on 2s, which is unacceptable.

I also wonder whether the Hornets wouldn't be better off starting Belinelli and bringing Marcus Thornton off the bench. Setting up the rotation with Belinelli starting allows Thornton to use his shot-creating energies with the second unit, where they'll be desperately needed -- New Orleans projects to have the league's worst bench.

a parte questo che è una stupidaggine le sue caratteristiche sono indicate discretamente...thorton ha molta piu' credibilità,si vede ed è giusto..io so solo che vedere belinelli in quintetto e quindi responsabilizzato ha sempre giovato e forse qualche sopresa l'avranno anche gli americani..dubito pero' partirà nello starting five ha piu' possibilità green..io per ora non lo vedo piu' di 10 minuti in campo ma spero di sbagliarmi anche perchè è decisamente piu' forte di green.
mi piace mettere le mani avanti anche se media e staff sembrano dargli una discreta importanza,sicuramente piu di quella ricevuta ai warriors e a toronto:

Sinceramente ora come ora non sta nè in cielo nè in terra...glielo auguro visto che è l'ultimo anno garantito ma veramente 16.6pt a partita li fa in nazionale in cui è la seconda opzione di tiro e gioca 35' su 40'

Gabbo leggi bene questa proiezione è fatta sui 40' min ecco perchè è cosi alta.....

ma infatti è una cazzata questa della proiezione..in 20 minuti 8 li fa tranquillamente quindi ecco spiegata la proiezione.
se riesce ad avere una volta in carriera 25 minuti di spazio mi piacerebbe vederlo in doppia cifra di media

finalmente una buona notizia per marco...da quanto visto nello scrimmage mi sembra che coach monty voglia utilizzare green da play e lasciare il posto da guardia ad 1 tra thornton e belinelli con shakur a fare il 3 play...speriamo bene, sembrerà stupido ma secondo me marco deve cominciare a dare il meglio già in questa preseason,anche se IMHO da 6 uomo vedrei molto meglio thornton che beli, poichè thornton è uno che nella 2 unit degli hornets potrebbe prendersi molte responsabilità e tiri...
