Ok che il training camp non è ancora ufficialmente iniziato...ma tutti i suoi compagni si stanno già allenando da diversi giorni e manca solo Andrea...si può sapere che cazzo sta facendo?!

Se guardi bene le immagini, in un fotogramma del secondo 23, quando tutti scattano si vede il Mago che scatta vicino ad Aaron Gray.
E che ovviamente non l'hanno inquadrato, perche' i tifosi canadesi si devono spispollare con gli americani.

intervista di Casey dove parla bene del mago,che, a suo parere, si sta allenando sui livelli pre infortunio dell'anno scorso e dichiara che lowry oltre ad essere un pitbull sara la "head of the snake", ossia l'uomo di riferimento.

Non credo intendesse quello perchè da ciò che ha detto su Andrea sa benissimo chi è l'uomo baromentro:

casey: listen, andrea is at the point in his career that we know what to expect from him. he will never be a guy who gets you 10-12 rebounds a game, thats just the reality of the situation. I kick his butt as much as i can but thats just how it is. I told him this year though he has to get me my 7-8 rebounds a game which is ok because jonas will be up there with him to grab the rest. Also, ill tell you what, Andrea has to be the 2nd most athletic guy i ever coached next to KG. When i coached dirk in Dallas, he was always slugging himself around and moving in slow motion sometimes but his mechanics are so good that it makes up for it. Andrea on the other hand is far more athletic and i'm trying to get him to use that to rebound more.

Non posso essere più d'accordo con questo articolo che centra perfettamente l'idea che ho dei raps...i problemi secondo me li riscontreranno soprattutto all'inizio,dato che val per me prima di 3-4 mesi non riuscirà ad adattarsi perfettamente al nuovo sistema ecc. Ruolo fondamentale per me in questo periodo avranno andrea ma soprattutto amir su cui quest'anno punto molto...speriamo in ross come una piacevole sorpresa e soprattutto che DD quest'anno svolti definitivamente...di lowry sono innamorato e credo che farà molto bene,fields per me è un ottimo giocatore di sistema ma spero solo che sia abbastanza continuo da 3

Analysis

Bargnani missed more than half the season with a calf strain and wasn't quite himself in several aborted comeback attempts, which is unfortunate because he looked to be one of the league's most improved players before the injury.

Bargnani was a force in the 13 games he played before the All-Star break, averaging 24.1 points on 46.3 percent shooting, getting to the line with aggressive right-hand drives and pump fakes, and flummoxing opposing big men with his usual unorthodox assortment of wrong-footed jab step moves. Without him, the Raptors were hopeless offensively; they're 10-31 over the past two seasons when he doesn't play.

The offense wasn't even the best part of Bargnani's partial season, though. Defensively, he went from one of the worst in the league to something resembling a real basketball player, overnight. I don't want to get too excited just yet -- he still lacks physicality and his rebound rate is flat-out embarrassing for a 7-footer -- but Bargnani had very strong Synergy grades, and his other metrics were substantially less awful than usual.

Last season offered a small sample, but with Bargnani likely to play more at the 4 this season and the tantalizing glimpse he gave us in 2011-12, he could finally be poised for the kind of breakout the Raptors have awaited the past six years.
