CLEVELAND -- Raptors forward Jorge Garbajosa, who already has missed six games this season, will travel to Baltimore tomorrow to consult with a specialist concerning his injured leg and ankle, prompting speculation that his season is over.
Associated Press, citing Spanish media sources, reported yesterday said that the second-year Raptors forward has elected to have surgery on his ankle. That report prompted the Raptors to issue a release which stated that "future treatment and therapy options remain undetermined at this point."
Garbajosa suffered a displaced ankle joint with a ligament tear and a fractured fibula after falling in a game against Boston in March, although a recent MRI suggested that there may be a problem with his leg, not his ankle.
Garbajosa played for Spain at the European Championships in September, against the advice of the Raptors doctors, and the quick return to play appears to have cost him. Garbajosa averaged 3.1 points in 10 games played this season. He averaged 8.9 points and 4.9 rebounds last season.

all'inizio avevo pensato all'infortuno diplomatico...
ma se come sembra questa cosa finirà per fargli saltar quasi tutta la stagione (o tutta) è difficilepensar che sia una finta per giustificar qualche dnp.

Intanto il prescelto, dopo Toronto, piazza un'altra tripla doppia (30-11-10). Non so, ma LBJ è veramente IMPRESCINDIBILE e oggi, il paragone con Melo, secondo me non è più affrontabile.

per me il paragone con anthony (che pur è un ottimo giocatore) è sempre stato inconsistente...
ma stavano nello stesso draft, hanno caratteristiche vagamente simili, erano entrambi molto attesi
Montar un presunto dualismo fa bene come "public relation" alla nba e alla stampa in generale..
le storie alla coppi-bartali non tiran solo in italia ^^

Per quanto riguarda il discorso 'Melo-James,quoto Raft ed aggiungo che la differenza sostanziale tra i due in futuro sarà sempre la stessa: Antonhy in tutte le squadre sarà UN leader,LeBron sarà sempre e solo IL leader...
I mezzi tecnici sono piu' o meno gli stessi,ma le bolas di James diventano una cassa di risonanza che lo fanno sembrare anche tecnicamente piu' forte di quanto in realtà non sia.
Lunga vita a King James!!!
Sbaglio o Dallas sembra aver capito che i titoli non si vincono durante la stagione?

nn ho ancora capito bene qual è il problema dei knicks ke io reputo una buonissima squadra...nn ho visto la partita xo segnare solo 59 punti è davvero una cosa ridicola in nba anke se contro Boston

Cambia squadra, qui se non cacciano tutta la dirigenza c'è solo da peggiorare, se Robinson non metteva la tripla era la peggior partita della storia per punti segnati. Il primo da epurare è sicuramente Schifon Marbury.
